We're heading to O-H-I-O for some robotics and workshop action!
In the next week, SparkFun will be traveling all around (namely the NSTA conference in San Antonio and the Cambridge Science Festival) and there's a good chance you'll get to see us! A couple of us are heading to Ohio for the National Robotics Challenge in Marion, OH. This event takes place on April 11th-13th, and Pete Dokter and I will be there.
NRC has been a great resource for schools working with robotics for a number of years and we're glad to be returning. Last year we saw some pretty awesome and innovative uses of technology and we can't wait to see what people have cooked up this year.
In addition to NRC, we'll be in Columbus on Saturday the 13th running a workshop with The Fuse Factory. We're really excited to lead a class exploring the Makey Makey with the good folks over at Fuse. The workshop will go through an introduction to the board and some techniques for working with it, as well as interfacing it to other programs. The workshop will take place at The Forge (Smith Bros. building), 580 N. Fourth Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215 on Saturday the 13th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Both of these events are sure to be a blast! If you're in the area, we hope to see you!
