Class Reminder!

We have two upcoming classes with spots still left!

I believe there is an ancient saying that goes something like, "Give a man a soldered board and he will prototype for a day. Teach a man to solder and he will build some really awesome stuff." That, you could say, is the inspiration behind our soldering classes. We want to help people get going in the world of electronics so they can start creating projects on their own. It's also the genesis of products like the ProtoSnap - we're looking to help people get started by removing the barriers to electronics success. To get to the point - we have two soldering classes coming up!

The first is the PTH Soldering Class coming up on August 22nd, 2011 from 6 pm to around 7:30 pm. This class is our most basic soldering class and will cover the standard tips, tricks, and techniques to complete beginner PTH (plated through-hole) soldering. By the end of the class, attendees will take home one of our Simon PTH kits that they assembled!

The second class is our SMD Soldering Class that will take place on September 8th, 2011 from 6 to around 8 pm. This class focuses on the more advanced surface mount device (SMD) soldering. At the end of the class, you'll take home your very own Simon SMD kit! Hope to see you at one (or both) of these classes!
