In our next installment of Robotics 101, the tables have flipped, kinda. Gregg, who's usually behind the camera, is now in front of it. Gregg explains the different types of tools you might encounter when making your robotic creation.

Cool, now that we have our fill of videos, let's see the new products for the week.

This thing is pretty huge. We carry the 4.3" and the 3.2", but this is a full 7 inches of GUI potential. These screens work with both the Arduino Display Adapter as well as the Raspberry Pi Display Adapter to make interfacing easy. Check out this video on how to use them.

The world of single-board-computers is expanding and this week we got the new pcDuino v2. The new version adds an on-board WiFi module as well as legit Arduino headers for use with shields. It has the power to do quite a bit and even had 4GB of onboard flash.

Have some Lego Minstorm stuff and want to connect it to your Raspberry Pi? The BrickPi lets you do exactly that! It has connectors for 5 sensor inputs and 4 motor outputs and even comes with a nifty laser-cut case.

We are now selling XL timing belt by the foot for all your linear motion applications. The belt fits all the Actobotics timing pulleys and is sold by the foot, so you can order a custom length for your project. Just use the timing belt mount to connect the ends together, and attach to the stationary part of your assembly.

This is a 12V regulator. It's not fancy, flashy, or special really. But it will give you a nice regulated 12V output. What more could you ask for?

We were unable to get the white fiber optic fabric, so we're now carrying it in black instead. It's actually more of a dark grey (charcoal?), but it lights up the same way. It has a fiber bundle that you shine light into and the whole thing lights up. It's pretty cool.

Lastly, we now have the new version of the Bluetooth Mate Silver in retail packaging. This has the new v6.15 firmware.

Well, that's all the new products we have for this week. As always, thanks for watching, reading, and being there for us. Come back next week for even more new products, see you then!
