What Is 10BASE-T1L Single Pair Ethernet?
As opposed to standard ethernet, with either two or four twisted pairs, single pair ethernet uses two copper wires.
Just Two Wires for Data and Power Transmission
The single, twisted-pair cable carries power to enable the powering of remote sensors and actuators and also both transmits and receives data.
Thin Cable Diameter
The thinner cable diameter offers less weight which translates to easier mobility, less space, faster installation, and lower costs.

The smaller connector footprint takes up less space on a PCB, simplifies design, and shows increased connector stability.
