Meet the SparkPNT TX2: High-Precision GNSS for Every Field

We are thrilled to announce the official release of the SparkPNT TX2, our next-generation handheld quad-band GNSS receiver.

Designed by listening closely to the needs of surveyors, engineers, and GIS professionals, the SparkPNT TX2 represents a new philosophy in high-precision positioning: providing exactly what you need to get the job done, without the unnecessary complexity or cost.

Built to Outlast the Longest Workday

The standout feature of the TX2 is its incredible efficiency. While most receivers struggle to get through a double shift, the TX2 boasts a 50+ hour battery life. This means you can confidently head into the field for a full week of work on a single charge. When you eventually do need a top-off, the 10W fast charging via USB-C ensures you aren’t tethered to the wall for long.

Precision Anywhere, No Subscription Required

The SparkPNT TX2 is powered by the Quectel LG290P module, offering quad-band reception (L1/L2/L5/E6) across all major constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and NavIC.

Most importantly, the TX2 supports Galileo HAS (High Accuracy Service). This allows the device to achieve <20cm accuracy anywhere on the planet without a local corrections source or a paid subscription. For those requiring centimeter-level precision, the TX2 is fully compatible with PointPerfect (SSR) and NTRIP (OSR) correction networks.

Seamless Integration with Your Choice of Apps

We know that a receiver is only as good as the software it talks to. The TX2 features robust Bluetooth® and WiFi connectivity, making it a "plug-and-play" partner for your favorite GIS data collector apps. Whether you are using ArcGIS Field Maps, SW Maps, QField, or Survey Master, the TX2 integrates seamlessly across Android and iOS platforms.

Rugged, Open, and Reliable

The TX2 isn't just smart; it’s tough. Encased in a durable aluminum and plastic housing, it carries an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it can withstand a meter of submersion for 30 minutes—more than enough to handle a sudden downpour or a drop in a muddy trench.

True to our roots, the TX2 runs on open-source software. This ensures transparency, easier feature expansion, and a longer device lifespan. You own the hardware so you should own the way it works, too!

The Next Step in Portable Positioning

At $1,249.95, the SparkPNT TX2 offers a high-performance, quad-band solution at a fraction of the cost of previous-generation devices like the RTK Torch. It is lighter (428g), lasts twice as long, and is ready to tackle your most demanding GIS projects.
