Raspberry Pi has a new 10.1-inch touchscreen!
Hello and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week we've added Raspberry Pi's 10.1-inch Touch Display 2 to our catalog! We've also added a stand-alone photoacoustic spectroscopy CO2 sensor and two new 2x20 SMD headers as well, so there's a little bit of everything this week. Make sure to read further down to see the price drops on some of our more popular products!
This version of the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 is a 10.1-inch touchscreen display designed for interactive Raspberry Pi applications. With a 1200 × 1920 pixel resolution and a capacitive touchscreen supporting up to ten simultaneous touch points, it provides a direct interface for controlling applications without a keyboard or mouse. The display connects through a DSI interface and is powered directly by the host Raspberry Pi, eliminating the need for a separate display power supply.
If you need something smaller, we also carry Raspberry Pi's 5-inch and 7-inch versions of the touch displays!
The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 is a real CO2 sensor combining NDIR technology with Infineon’s high SNR MEMS microphones, allowing for state-of-the-art accuracy in an exceptionally small form factor. The sensor is based on the photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) principle, where CO2 molecules within the sensor cavity absorb infrared light, generating small pressure changes that are detected by an acoustic detector.
Check out our blog, "Carbon Dioxide Sensing: PAS vs NDIR vs TVOC" to learn more about the different kinds of CO2 sensors!
These are simple 2x20-pin female and male SMD right angle headers. The pins on each header set have been spaced at the 0.1" standard. These are the same headers we've used on our in-house Raspberry Pi builds and boards.
Visualize the invisible world of magnetism in real-time! The SparkFun Magnetic Imaging Tile utilizes a dense 8x8 grid of 64 high-sensitivity Hall-effect sensors to create a live, visual representation of magnetic fields. This allows you to "see" the behavior of magnets, the flow of current in wires, and the fields generated by electric motors. While the tile's sensors are highly sensitive, the optimal imaging range is 1cm to 2cm from the surface, making it perfect for detailed analysis of nearby magnetic sources.

Detecting magnetic fields no longer requires complicated math or high power consumption! The SparkFun TMAG5273 Qwiic Linear 3D Hall-Effect Sensor provides high-precision data on a magnetic field's presence, strength, and direction across three dimensions. This board is perfect for applications involving magnetic proximity detection, door and window sensing, mobile rotor control, and more! At the heart of these boards sits the Texas Instruments TMAG5273, capable of scaling its linear magnetic range to either ±40 mT or ±80 mT. Operating at just 2.3mA in active mode and dropping down to just 1µA in sleep mode, the TMAG5273 a much more economical choice for battery-powered projects than most other magnetometers on the market.
This board is also available in a miniature 0.5-inch by 1-inch Qwiic board.
