School's In Session
Announcing a few upcoming classes!
Although it can be fun when the weather gets warm to shut down your brain, summer doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop learning - it just means you can choose things that are more fun. With that in mind, we have a few upcoming classes to announce.
The first is for all those interested in E-Textiles - our Introduction to LilyPad class. This class, taking place at 6 PM on June 9th, will guide users through the basics of the LilyPad system - a development platform that makes adding electronics to your clothing a breeze. All you need to bring is yourself and your imagination (and maybe a bite to eat). This class has become very popular, so sign up early!
The next class is probably our most popular - Introduction to Arduino. From 10 AM - 5 PM on June 12th, you will spend all day learning the ins and outs of the Arduino platform as our swarm of skillful instructors guide you through experiments of various difficulty. You'll leave with a basic understanding of embedded electronics and the know-how to start your own projects.
Lastly, at 6 PM on July 14th, we'll be holding our Soldering Stenciling Class. This class will guide you through the process of using solder paste to connect components to a PCB. This is a really useful thing for those projects that have a whole bunch of fine-pitch parts. In the process, you'll create your very own Arduino Pro (which you'll get to take home).
