A New Addition to the GNSS Flex Family
The DAN-F10N dual-band GNSS receiver from u-blox gets its own GNSS Flex pHAT and Module!
Hello everyone! Welcome back to another Friday product post here at SparkFun Electronics. This week, we are happy to introduce you to two new boards being added to our modular GNSS Flex product line that easily adds GNSS functionality to your Raspberry Pi or other SBC eqiupped with a 40-pin GPIO header: the DAN-F10N GNSS Flex pHAT and DAN-F10N GNSS Flex Module! Following that, we have a new version of our WS2812B Breakout now equipped with headers, and then a handful of existing components that help fill in a few categories in our catalog. Okay, we have a bit to get through, so let's take a closer look!

Equip your Raspberry Pi projects with meter-level, dual-band GNSS positioning using the SparkFun DAN-F10N GNSS Flex pHAT. This development platform combines our versatile GNSS Flex pHAT carrier board with the reliable DAN-F10N GNSS Flex Module, providing an affordable and easy-to-integrate solution for any single-board computer with a 40-pin header.
The GNSS Flex pHAT acts as the bridge between your Raspberry Pi and the modular SparkPNT ecosystem. It mounts securely via an extended 40-pin header and connects to the included GNSS module using standardized 2x10-pin headers, making it simple to swap modules for repairs or future upgrades.
Meet the SparkFun DAN-F10N GNSS Flex Module, a compact PNT receiver for reliable, meter-level accuracy positioning. This module is part of our SparkPNT GNSS Flex series, designed to provide your Raspberry Pi or similar SBC with modular GNSS capabilities. Each GNSS Flex Module is pin-compatible with a GNSS Flex pHAT and easily swappable, allowing you to effortlessly repair or upgrade your GNSS receiver without redesigning your entire system. The standardized 2x10-pin (2mm pitch) headers break out key UART, PPS, and event signals for seamless integration.
Start your addressable LED project faster than ever with the SparkFun WS2812B RGB LED Breakout (with Headers). This version of the board comes with headers pre-soldered for your convenience, allowing you to plug it directly into a breadboard with no soldering required. It features the popular WS2812B (commonly known as a "NeoPixel"), an all-in-one component that integrates a full-color LED and a controller into a single package. We still carry a version of this board without headers, as well!
The FT230X USB Bridge is a compact USB to serial UART interface IC, engineered with an optimized pin count for space-constrained applications. It provides a simple and efficient solution for adding USB 2.0 connectivity to microcontroller designs, significantly reducing the required PCB footprint and simplifying layout.
The TCR2EF is a CMOS single output voltage regulator with an on/off control input, featuring low dropout voltage, low output noise voltage and fast load transient response. With 200mA Fixed voltage capable of outputting 3.3V. They feature overcurrent protection, an Auto-discharge function.
These are Philips-head M2.5-0.45 screws and hex M2.5; 16mm standoffs. Each are ideal as standoffs and are used in our Raspberry Pi GNSS Flex pHAT! Each piece of hardware is sold individually.
Last up this week is this single row of 20-pin, break away male headers. Can be cut to size with a pair of wire-cutters. Standard 0.1" (2.54mm) spacing. They mate very well with break away male headers.
