Hello everyone and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! We have four big ticket products that we are excited to share with you, and it starts with the latest graduate from the SparkX brand: the Qwiic STC31 CO2 Sensor! This little board is one of the most accurate environmental sensors capable of reading and providing data in some of the most extreme environments. Following that, we have three new GNSS Flex Modules two of which are equipped with the new ZED-X20P both with and without an IM19 IMU, the third equipped with and LG290P and an IM19 IMU. The STC31 is built for applications where reliability is key. It uses a revolutionary thermal conductivity measurement principle, combined with Sensirion's patented CMOSens® technology, to deliver superior repeatability and long-term stability. This means the sensor element, signal processing, and digital calibration are all integrated onto a single tiny chip.

This is one of our most advanced modules in the GNSS Flex series, combining the ZED-X20P all-band RTK GNSS receiver with the high-precision IM19 IMU for accurate navigation in the most demanding applications.
Like all SparkPNT GNSS Flex Modules, this and the next two boards are designed to be easily swappable and pin-compatible for future upgrades. They connect to your GNSS Flex pHAT carrier board via standardized 2x10-pin headers, which break out the module’s set of interfaces, including USB, dual UARTs, and I²C for the GNSS receiver, as well as dedicated UARTs for the IMU.

The Pololu D42V55F24, D42V55F8, and D42V55F5.3 are compact synchronous step-down (buck) switching regulators that take input voltages from 24V up to 60V, 8.4V up to 60V, and 5.3V up to 60V (respectively) and delivers a tightly regulated 24V output at up to 4A, 8.4V output at up to 5A, and 5.3V output at up to 6A (again, respectively). A step-down converter reduces a higher input voltage to a lower output voltage while increasing available current and doing so much more efficiently than a linear regulator; this means less heat and better energy use in high-difference applications.
The FS3000-1005 is a surface-mount type air velocity module that uses a MEMS thermopile-based sensor. The FS3000-1005 has a range of 0-7.23m/s (0-16.17mph). The FS3000-1005 features a digital output with 12-bit resolution. The sensor comprises a “solid” thermal isolation technology and silicon-carbide coating to protect it from abrasive wear and water condensation.
The DA7280 is a linear resonant actuator (LRA) and eccentric rotating mass (ERM) haptic driver offering automatic closed-loop LRA resonant frequency tracking. The feature guarantees consistency across LRA production tolerances, operating temperature, aging, and mechanical coupling. DA7280 offers wideband operation that fully utilizes the capabilities of newer wideband and multi-directional LRAs.
