Hello everyone and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! This week, we have have a brand new Raspberry Pi add-on in the form of their new AI HAT+! The AI HAT+ 2 provides you with a whopping 40 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) which will significantly expand your generative capabilities, to say the least! This enables the board to run heavier, more complex models, like speech-to-text and live translation, that previously required cloud processing. Let's take a closer look!

The Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 is the next leap forward for edge computing, bringing high-performance Generative AI capabilities directly to the Raspberry Pi 5. Built around the high-powered Hailo-10H AI processor, this add-on for your Pi delivers up to 40 Tera Operations Per Second (TOPS) of inferencing performance (INT4) and features 8GB of dedicated on-board RAM.
In case you missed it, this last Wednesday, we dropped 400 units of our famous Dumpster Dive box. We are sitting at just over 100 units as of the publication of this blog, so supplies are quickly running out!
