From Unboxing to Setup: The AgXRP Need-to-Knows

We have a series of new videos that will help you understand everything you need to know about AgXRP!

Last week, we released the Beta for the AgXRP Starter Kit, an open-source, autonomous robotics platform, that can turn your desk into a smart farm, an expansion pack for the AgXRP to monitor and maintain multiple planting zones, as well as DIY versions of these two kits that allow you to 3D print your own parts thus reducing the cost and barrier to entry. With this complete ecosystem of agriculturally focused kits, hardware, and components, you will be able to build an automated soil moisture system while learning about robotics, automation, and agriculture technology.

As technology in modern farming advances, it’s essential that educational tools evolve to prepare the next generation of farmers to meet global food demands. So today, Dryw steps up to go through a full unboxing of each of these four kits and walks through full step-by-step video guides that will help you assemble and configure your AgXRP Kits!

Unboxing Your AgXRP

In this first video, we unbox the AgXRP Beta Starter Kit and walk through everything included so you can verify your parts and get ready for assembly. We cover the full starter kit contents, including core components, pump hardware, and soil moisture sensing parts. Other kits are subsets of this configuration, so this overview applies to all versions!

Building Your AgXRP

Next, this step-by-step guide walks you through assembling the AgXRP Beta Starter Kit. Follow along as we build the frame, mount components, and install the pump and sensor hardware. The best part? No tools are required! The system is designed for easy assembly using snap-fit parts and connectors.

Configuring Your AgXRP

Now that your AgXRP is assembled, this final video walks you through powering it on, connecting to the device, and verifying that everything is working properly. You’ll connect via Wi-Fi, access the web dashboard, and test both the soil moisture sensor and pump system to ensure your build is fully functional.

Want to learn more about AgXRP? Well, you can check out each of the product pages linked above, but we also have a comprehensive information page all about AgXRP that includes an overview of the system, all of the videos embedded above, an FAQ, and more!

Please keep in mind that AgXRP is currently in beta and represents the first complete pass of the system. The platform is fully functional, but this release serves as a foundation for future refinement and expansion. We welcome thoughtful feedback from users. Your experience, ideas, and real-world use cases will help shape the next evolution of AgXRP.
