The new SparkFun GNSS Flex Breakout eliminates the need for an additional SBC.
Hello everyone and welcome back to another Friday Product Post here at SparkFun Electronics! It's technically a small week in terms of new releases, but what we lack in quantity, we make up for in quality! The new SparkFun GNSS Flex Breakout is here and eliminates the need for an additional SBC, massively cutting the cost of of trying out our new modular GNSS product line! Following that, we have four ceramic capacitors that we are bringing over from our production stock, offering them to you individually. Alright, let's take a closer look!
Unlock the full potential of your GNSS Flex Modules with the SparkFun GNSS Flex Breakout. This versatile carrier board is the ultimate development tool for the GNSS Flex ecosystem, providing complete access to every interface of your chosen module in a simple, easy-to-use form factor. Whether you're prototyping on a breadboard, integrating with a flight controller, or creating a custom navigation system, this breakout gives you the flexibility you need. The breakout board features the standardized 2x10 male headers to securely connect any of our GNSS Flex modules, instantly making all of their capabilities accessible.
The true power of the GNSS Flex Breakout is unlocked by choosing the perfect engine for your project from our growing family of GNSS Flex Modules. For the most demanding industrial applications, the Septentrio mosaic-X5 delivers robust, centimeter-level accuracy with advanced AIM+ interference mitigation. Our lineup also includes the all-band u-blox ZED-X20P and quad-band Quectel LG290P RTK receivers, both of which are available with or without an integrated IMU for full tilt compensation and dead reckoning. Finally, for applications in challenging urban environments where signal reflection is the primary concern, the u-blox DAN-F10N provides reliable meter-level accuracy with superior multipath mitigation. With these six distinct options and more on the way, there's a swappable Flex Module for any positioning need.
Wrapping up the week, we have four ceramic capacitors that we are bringing over from our production stock. While we can't recommend them for new builds due to them largely being phased out of modern engineering, we are offering them at a drastically reduced cost in case any of you need replacements or if you do, in fact, want to use them in a new design. Hey, you're your own boss, don't let us tell you what to do!
